This year has been filled already with so many great things for my authors that I have to take a moment out to congratulate them all! A few fabulous highlights:
Both N.K. Jemisin’s Broken Earth and Rachel Caine’s Great Library series appeared on Bustle’s list of 18 Fantasy Series to read after ‘Glass Sword’ (the second volume in Victoria Aveyard’s bestselling Red Queen series).
Speaking of which, since I last crowed about N.K. Jemisin’s accomplishments, the first novel in the Broken Earth series, THE FIFTH SEASON, has been…wait for it!…
-Nominated for the Nebula Award for Best Novel
-Named a finalist for the Kitschie Award for Best Novel (aka the Red Tentacle Award)
-Shortlisted for the American Library Association’s RUSA (Reference and User Services Association) Reading List.
I’m very excited to announce that APEX by Ramez Naam is a Philip K Dick Award Nominee!
DREAMING DEATH by J. Kathleen Cheney was named one of Kirkus Reviews’ February Speculative Fiction Books You Can’t Miss. Also, Romantic Times Magazine did a very nice spotlight on DREAMING DEATH in their March issue (page 65)!
Also this month, Library Journal did a special interview with Faith Hunter about her Jane Yellowrock Collection BLOOD IN HER VEINS.
